El maracuyá peruano busca reinventarse y alcanzar nuevos mercados"Superfoods" is a new term to describe food that offers  great nutritional benefits and few calories. They are full vitamins and minerals that the body needs.



My favorite Peruvian superfood is Maracuya. It is a product from Peru with high nutritional value. It contains vitamins A, B, C, it is favorable for cholesterol treatments, it is low in fat, it has calming and detoxifying properties.

Maracuya can be eaten raw or processed, such as juices, jams, sauces, fruit purees and for that it must be cut and eaten inside which the seeds and meat stick, the skin is not eaten. We can use the passion fruit flower in salads, it is edible and tasty.
